Monitoring
Data center monitoring is the process of monitoring, managing and operating a data center to be in compliance with the operating and organizational requirements. It is the process of using manual and automated tools and techniques to ensure the best operating health of a data center. It ensures that the key functions and services of a data center are delivered without any interruptions or abnormalities.
Data collected from monitoring your data center can be stored, analyzed, and displayed in business intelligence and analytics dashboards and reports in your DCIM software to help you make data-driven data center management decisions. This data is used by data center administrators in identifying irregularities and in fixing them.
IDCS can assists in providing products that give you fully automated, real-time data center monitoring solutions that significantly reduce the time and cost of tracking and managing IT assets and the environmental conditions that surround them.
Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)

Data center infrastructure management (DCIM) is the convergence of IT and building facilities functions within an organization. The goal of a DCIM initiative is to provide administrators with a holistic view of a data center’s performance so that energy, equipment and floor space are used as efficiently as possible.
DCIM software is used to measure, monitor and manage the IT equipment and supporting infrastructure of data centers.
This enables data center operators to run efficient operations while improving infrastructure design planning. DCIM software can be hosted on premises or in the cloud.
Water Leak Detection (WLD)

Leak detection system is an equipment which detects water leak at very early stage and send alert to user. This equipment is essential in server room since data center consists of Precision Air Conditioner (PAC) which need at least water drainage and waster supply for its functioning. Hence it is important to protect every data center with water leak detection system
In data center leak detection system can be installed separately or it can be incorporated in Environmental Monitoring System (EMS). An individual water leak detection system consists of leak detection panel and leak detection sensors. Leak sensors are of different types like cable sensor, spot or probe.
Environmental Monitoring

An Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) consists of a monitoring unit that collects environmental data and provides alerts when analog measurements fall outside set parameter ranges, or there is a change of state to a digital input. In a server room or data center environment, the principle environmental factors are temperature, humidity, smoke, water leakage, power failure etc.
An environmental monitoring system (EMS) includes base sensor monitoring devices, plug-in sensors, signal dry-contacts and centralized monitoring software with network and web-based access used to collate the collected data and display it in a usable format for data center operators.
Battery Monitoring

Battery monitoring system is a device used to measure the state of charge and health of a battery. It alerts the user about the failure of batteries within the bank. It also alerts the user about the net charge existing or total backup available from the battery or the battery bank.
Any particular damage to the battery is often easily monitored to require the required action to protect the battery from any major damage hindering its ability to perform.
The battery monitoring system also helps generate a live report of the battery performance and triggers an alarm if any fault is detected.
